If, on the other hand, you are a REAL AMERICAN, you will read this book with alarm. Why? because millions of our fellow citizens believe far right loons like Glen Beck, who hate our president, and everything decent this country has ever stood for. Do not buy this book any other place but at a garage sale for 50 cents, and its not even worth that. By the way, you know how nonsense like this becomes #1 on best seller lists, don't you? Because wealthy far right hallburton industrialists buy pallet loads before the book is published at full retail price, so that it can then be heavily discounted and then sold at huge discounts at the big box stores, where red state America shops.

Einstein said that Common Sense consists of all the prejudices learned up to the age of 18.
Alas how true that is of Mr Beck.
If you find yourself agreeing with just about anything Glenn Beck has to say then :-
a) You already have the government you deserve
b) You too have no understanding of the works of Thomas Paine.
Thomas Paine is spinning in his grave with all the "turn to God" nonsense expounded by Mr Beck in this book.
And yet the sheep buy this stuff.
BECAUSE they are sheep.

Ignorance is the reason that we are on the verge of losing our liberty. Generations of indoctrination in public schools instead of history lessons have numbed us to the truth, and with this out of control administration bent on stripping our liberty and giving us some sort of socialism in return, we must wake up!
Just as Thomas Paine did in the past when we were trying to decide whether we wanted freedom or chains, Glenn Beck does in this important book. (With the added bonus of Thomas Paine's Common Sense included) Glenn has made the book affordable because he knows the danger we are in. Everyone must do his or her part and the first critical step is to learn what is going on. The mainstream media has sold their souls (no wonder; they along with ACORN are almost single-handedly responsible for the mess we are in) and are unwilling or incapable of sounding the alarm.
This book resonates with hope, and despite the peril we face, we can take back our freedom if we do not wait too long. Get busy, read this book, then act!

This book is very current (summer '09) and is very "right on" with what is going on. However, always the next question is, "What can we do besides write emails and call?" We are being ignored by too many senators and representatives. Glenn really doesn't offer a solution.
