Upgraded my 17" MacBook Pro from 2gig to 4gig. Noticeable performance boost when running multiple applications. Only downfall is slightly less battery life; about 30 minutes less / full charge. However, to me, the increased performance is worth the decrease in battery life. Highly recommended.

I found that my new MacBook Pro was slowing down dramatically. I replaced my 2X1GB memory with these 2X2GBs. My note book went from walking speed to lightning speed! Loading is close to instantaneous now! An at about half the cost of Apple's product! Well worth the price.
