I am very happy with this purchase. This is of course Laptop RAM and I suggest doing your homework on Google before you purchase this type of RAM so that you know if it is compatible with your laptop. For me, I used this for my Inspiron XPS Gen 2 Laptop and it worked out perfectly.
Very easy to upgrade and the price at around $8 per gig is unbeatable.
I think the last reviewer was a bit sore because he/she did not do enough research, but it happens. I wouldn't give it a negative review however because the RAM does its job and it is a good product. I took a chance against the negative review and it did pay off for me.

The picture shows desktop RAM, but I was sent SODIMM laptop memory. (the description doesn't say anything about SODIMM) Be careful ordering this until Amazon gets the description sorted out.
