This 2GB SD card was purchased as an upgrade to my old 1GB PNY SD card in my digital camera. Not only did I effectively double the amount of pictures I can hold, but I also increased the recording speed; this SD card is pretty fast. I'm using it with a 5MP Panasonic camera, so your experience may vary, but I found it quite adequate for my needs.
